The Centre for Health Services Research (ZVF-BB) at the MHB performs scientific, teaching and organisational tasks in the field of patient-oriented and population-related health services research, also in cooperation with the MHB’s supporting clinics and other cooperating clinics and scientific partners. There is close cooperation with the MHB’s University Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy in Rüdersdorf, represented by Prof. Dr Martin Heinze and Prof. Dr Sebastian von Peter.

The Chair of Health Services and Health Systems Research at the FGW is dedicated in particular to regional health services research. Analyses of the spatial layouts of the planning regions and the consideration of changes in demand and in the range of services offered are of particular importance in determining the need for care.f
