FGW Qualification Program

For doctoral candidates, we offer the interdisciplinary FGW qualification program.

The program supports your qualification as Dr. rer. medic. and Dr. med. It should be attended until opening the procedure at the latest.

General Information on the FGW Qualification Program

You will be trained in the following skills:  

  • Project management and planning a (doctorate) project
  • Knowledge and use of the rules of good scientific and clinical practice,
  • in particular for planning and carrying out studies (on humans)
  • Writing scientific publications
  • Knowledge of the regulations on intellectual copyright, plagiarism, and patents
  • Awareness of ethical aspects of your work, drawing up an ethics application
  • Competent presentation and discussion of the results of your scientific work.

Receive Credit for already Completed Courses

Upon opening the procedure, you have to prove the skills you have acquired. If you have already acquired equivalent skills in other course formats, you can also have these certified by your initial supervisor.
