General Information on Transfer at the FGW

Transfer and translation of the results of joint health research to ensure good medical and nursing care in the state of Brandenburg are important concerns of the faculty.

The focus here is to transfer research results of the faculty into the economy as well as to successfully translate them into medical and nursing practice.

A common framework which takes into account the specific tasks and proven formats of the transfer structures within the supporting universities and bundles the transfer activities in the health sciences is essential for effective knowledge and technology transfer.

With partners from science, research and clinics, the transfer department of the Brandenburg Faculty of Health Sciences is building a state-wide research network in the health sciences. We present the wide range of offers in an information video: https://videoup.uni-potsdam.de/

Dr. Guenter Peine, as transfer advisor of the faculty, oversees the following areas of responsibility:

  • Development of a consistent transfer concept
  • Ensuring communication, cooperation and transparency between the respective transfer structures of the supporting universities
  • Development of the future “Transfer/Translation in the Health Sciences” department of the faculty as an interface to the supporting universities

He is the contact person for the “Transfer and Translation” area of the faculty in the health campus and for external partners.
