Prof. Dr. med. Notger Müller ist seit dem 01.10.2021 FGW-Professor für Degenerative und chronische Erkrankungen, Bewegung an der Universität Potsdam.

Das Team der Professur ist national und international auf dem Gebiet der Erforschung degenerativer und chronischer Erkrankungen mit dem Schwerpunkt der Therapie und Prävention durch körperliche Aktivität tätig.
Ein Fokus der Professur ist die Bearbeitung von Mechanismen, Dosis-Wirkung und Effizienz körperlicher Aktivität bei Patienten aller Altersgruppen.

Darüber hinaus wirkt Prof. Dr. Müller am FGW-Masterstudiengang Public Health, Exercise and Nutrition mit, der im Wintersemester 2024/ 2025 startet.
